The streaming giant Netflix brings another crime documentary to its audience. The film is based on the fake diamond mogul Simon Leviev who made a fortune by conning women on the dating app Tinder. Directed by Felicity Morris, the Netflix documentary is about love, romance, crime and revenge. The makers released the trailer in India today and it features a slick Hollywood film with exotic locations, luxurious lifestyle, a millionnaire conman and women from across the world trying to get him arrested.

The makers, known for the hit Netflix documentary series Don't F**K With Cats and The Imposter, collaborate again to tell the real-life story of Simon Leviev, who is known as ‘Tinder Swindler’. The man has conned many women whom he met online on the dating app. He has defrauded several women of millions of money to lead a luxurious life. The trailer opens with a woman narrating her ordeal about how she met him and he first offered to take her on his private jet for a date. Floored by him, she agrees. But later that night, he requests a few thousand from her for some 'emergency purpose' as his 'life depended on it'. She agrees only to later realised that she has been cheated by him. The documentary includes several interviews of victims and narrates how they get together to help bring his downfall.

The official description by the makers read, "From the team producers of Don't F**ck With Cats, modern love is a dangerous game in the world of online dating, and not all that glitters is gold. Notoriously known as The Tinder Swindler, he has seduced and swindled young women for millions and is a fugitive from justice in several countries. One swipe could change your life. This is the ultimate fairytale gone nightmare. Follow three women who decided it was time for payback."

The victims are threatened by him as they try to get him to pay back. The film shares the audio clips of his threats where he is heard asking how dare they double-cross him.
