Ram Pothineni looks set for another commercial success as he dons the cop avatar for the first time in his career in his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual The Warriorr. Written and directed by N Lingusamy, the Warriorr marks the Tamil debut of both its lead actors Ram and Krithi Shetty. Nadhiya, Aadhi Pinisetty too play crucial roles in the saga that hits theatres on July 14.

Devi Sri Prasad had scored the music for the film. While the first single, Bullet, sung by actor Simbu across both the languages was a smashing hit, a new melody titled Dhada Dhada was launched by filmmaker Gautham Menon earlier today. Shree Mani and Viveka wrote the lyrics for the song in Tamil and Telugu versions respectively, while Haricharan is the singer.

While Ram Pothineni plays Sathya, Krithi Shetty is cast as a radio jockey, his romantic interest. In Dhada Dhada, we see the duo gradually for one another across many meetings. Despite the same singer crooning in Telugu and Tamil, the lyrical flow in the Tamil version works better and contributes a lot to the impact of the number. The Telugu version falls behind by a whisker.

Yet, Dhada Dhada, shot entirely in Hyderabad is a welcome return to form for Devi Sri Prasad and reasserts his worth as a melody-maker after a strictly okayish album like F3. Ram and Krithi share a terrific on-screen camaraderie. The Warriorr, produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, has wrapped its shoot and the post-production formalities are progressing at a brisk pace.
