Thee Thalapathy from Varisu: Thaman teases fans with his picture with Silambarasan, ahead of single release

Fans of Vijay have been waiting for an announcement on the second single from Varisu for the last few days. The makers surprised them by coming up with an update on the same a day ago. The track titled Thee Thalapathy will be unveiled tomorrow at 4 pm.

The news of Silambarasan crooning the song has left his fans, too, excited. According to sources, the song is touted as a peppy number which is likely to become an instant chartbuster. As if this isn't enough, Thaman, the music composer, has now posted a picture of himself posing for a photo with Silambarasan aka STR.

This isn't the first time STR has lent voice for a song under Thaman's composition. The latter has composed music for a few films of the former as well. Eeswaran was the last movie which brought them together. STR had sung the popular track Mangalyam for the movie which was released in 2021.

The actor has lent voice for a big star earlier as well. His voice in the peppy track Diamond Girl composed by Thaman from Jr NTR-starrer Baadshah was much appreciated almost a decade ago.

An excited Thaman took to his Twitter page and hinted at the arrival of an electrifying song tomorrow. He couldn't control his excitement and came up with several emojis in his tweet, leaving fans overwhelmed. Varisu marks the first collaboration of Vijay and Thaman.

The film which is slated for a huge release on January 12 will be released under the title Vaarasudu in Telugu. The movie will have a clash with Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy at Tollywood box office and Ajith's Thunivu at Tamil box office.
