Yash Raj Film’s Spy Universe is getting bigger and bigger by the day. After Salman Khan shot for his portions in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan last year, the latter is all set to make an appearance in Tiger 3, which is helmed by Maneesh Sharma.
Last year, Salman had shot for a few bombastic action sequences featuring Russian mafia and car, helicopter chases for Siddhart Anand’s directorial Pathaan, in which he will be making an appearance as Tiger. Now Pinkvilla has reported that Shah Rukh is all set to return the favour in Tiger 3, with an explosive action sequence of his own.
According to the report, the Jawan actor has allotted 10 days for the shoot of the movie and is expected to join the sets by late July or the beginning of August. Shah Rukh will be shooting for an intro sequence that would rival Salman’s in Pathan. The latter will reportedly be introduced in Pathaan in a sequence featuring a helicopter.
Apart from the intro, Shah Rukh and Salman will also be part of a big-budget action scene. A source from the production team had told the online portal that the sequences as well as dialogues of both stars have been conceived keeping in mind their stardom and their real-life relationship.
Tiger 3 will have Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist. The film is currently set to hit theatres in Eid 2023. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s Pathaan, which also has Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles, will mark the superstar’s first release in 2023. The film is slated to release worldwide on January 25.
Both Shah Rukh and Salman are also expected to show up in several other films that are planned as part of the YRF Spy Universe franchise, which also includes the sequel of Hrithik Roshan’s War, which is currently in development.
