With less than 24 hours left for Vikram's release, impatient and excited fans of Kamal Haasan are thrilled as its first ever review is out. No, we are not talking about reviews from any critics, but from a person who is associated with the project.
Actor-politician Udhayanidhi, who has bagged theatrical rights of the film in Tamil Nadu, took to his Twitter page to inform everyone that he has watched the much-awaited action entertainer and that he loved it to the core. He also added that the movie will be a "sure blockbuster".
An elated Kamal replied to his tweet and said that the crucial feedback from a fan like him will provide the much-needed enthusiasm to other fans of the veteran actor-filmmaker. Thanking Udhay, Ulaganayagan posted, "Dear @Udhaystalin thambi. Thanks for your glowing first view report on #Vikram. You had proclaimed yourself as a fan. Your report will enthuse all my other brothers to dizzying heights (sic)".
Udhay had bagged theatrical rights of almost all big ticket Tamil films which released this year, including Etharkkum Thunindhavan, Beast, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Don. In a recent press interaction, he had informed that all these projects were profitable ventures for him.
All eyes are on Vikram now; the movie is expected to take the third biggest opening for a Tamil film this year at the box office. The highlight of the Lokesh Kanagaraj is likely to be the performances of Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, along with the most-anticipated cameo from Suriya.
Anirudh's background score and Anbariv's action sequences are a couple of aspects of the movie which are eagerly awaited by film buffs. The first show of the film will start from as early as 4 am in Tamil Nadu, while premiere shows in the US will begin tonight.
