Hrithik Roshan is ready to begin the shoot of Ayan Mukerji's War 2. Despite a back injury, the Bollywood actor is gearing up for his upcoming film's shoot schedule. The spy film will mark Hrithik's return as RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal in War 2. Hrithik will also lock horns with RRR star Jr NTR in this action-thriller. The latest update is that both actors will shoot their intense face-off sequence in April this year.

For the uninitiated, producer Aditya Chopra is personally supervising War. Along with filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, Aditya wants to ensure that Hrithik and Jr NTR's face-off turns out to be a spectacular sequence. Jr NTR, who is currently shooting for Devaara: Part 1, will join War 2 by April-end.

According to Mid-Day, Ayan and Aditya have planned a nine-day schedule during which Hrithik and Jr NTR will shoot the portion that is likely to include hand-to-hand combat and martial. "While this sequence will begin on a set in Mumbai, a part of it will be shot in an international locale," a source told the tabloid.

Hrithik Roshan to shoot his portions before the face-off sequence?

The same report suggests Hrithik Roshan will shoot his solo portions for War 2 throughout April. The Bollywood actor's entry scene will be shot towards the beginning of the schedule. Jr NTR's entry sequence is expected to be massive. For the film, Ayan and Aditya have roped in 11 international stunt directors.

About War franchise

The first installment of War was released in 2019. The film was directed by filmmaker Siddharth Anand and featured Hrithik alongside Tiger Shroff. The movie, which is a part of YRF's spy universe, turned out to be one of the highest-grossing films of that year.

This time around, Ayan Mukerji was roped in to direct War 2. While Hrithik will reprise his role, it isn't sure if Tiger Shroff will be a part of the film.
