What's the update on Jawan trailer? Shah Rukh Khan finally responds

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is one of the most-awaited movie events of the year . And in the run-up to the movie's grand theatrical release, SRK has been engaging his fans through frequent 'ask me anything' sessions. And the repeated question that he ends up getting during such sessions is "when is the trailer launch of Jawan?."

Fans anticipate for Jawan trailer

One of the fans even wondered whether the trailer would be released along with the movie's release in cinemas on September 7. "Better idea is maybe after the release no?! Ha ha #Jawan," SRK quipped.

However, it seems the work on cutting a trailer for Jawan seems to be going on in full swing. Before starting the AMA session on Saturday, SRK noted that he had some time to kill before his meeting with Atlee, who was set to show him new clips of Jawan. And he ended the interactions with fans by telling them he was going to work on the trailer. "Ok guys time to go make the trailer as everyone wants that. @TSeries & @anirudhofficial & @Atlee_dir had wanted to put out song. Will leave a teaser now….& get @AntonyLRuben to work on trailer. Song is….Not …Ramaiya Vastvaiya. Bye for now love u all. #Jawan," he wrote on his Twitter account. 

The ball is in Jawan editor's court

Film editor Ruben has carved a niche for himself by working on several blockbusters in the South Cinema. Ruben is a regular collaborator of director Atlee as he has edited the latter's previous three blockbusters, including Theri, Mersal and Bigil. He is also cutting Atlee's Jawan. Responding to the questions about the update on the trailer, Ruben tweeted, "#JawanTrailer on the Table." It seems that Ruben is on the clock and is whipping up an explosive trailer. 

Jawan prevue was a big hit

The expectations for Jawan sored after the launch of its high-voltage teaser. Jawan prevue caught the imagination of the movie-buffs across the country as it packed glimpses of many non-stop action sequences from the movie. And Ruben had done a wonderful job in crafting an energetic narrative flow to highlight the best stunt moments in the movie. The prevue was such a hit that the trade was convinced of the movie's blockbuster success at the global box office.
