The show, which made its way to audiences in the West earlier this year, has kept fans waiting to see it for a while now. As the Jamie Dornan starrer is now available for streaming, the buzz around it is back, and the fans cannot contain their excitement. When Jamie Dornan Got Hurt On The Tourist Sets
Jamie Dornan plays a rather mysterious man in his series called The Tourist. He started out as a nameless man who has forgotten his identity and set out to find it. He was then called Elliot, and now in the second season, he has a new name. The actor, back in the day, while talking about the character, got candid as he spoke about how those complexities do take a toll on you. While doing so, he also spoke about the time he hit a wooden platform while filming a scene and was covered with blood afterward. Read on to know everything you should about the same.
As per Virgin Radio UK, Jamie Dornan said, “It was emotionally and physically demanding to play Elliot. But the first two weeks of shooting this series was when we were doing all the running."
Jamie continued, “I just ran every day for two weeks. It was exhausting, but I enjoyed that. I love that side of things, and while I feel physically able, I will continue to do that. But when you read the script, you’re thinking, will the hill be that steep? Then they found this hill, and I ran up and down it all day.”
He further went on to explain how dangerous it was. “The director told me to roll down [the hill] and get as close to this fake rock—made of polystyrene—as I could. So I did one take and got pretty close, so I did it again, and I managed to hit the wooden base. So I get up, I’m all groggy, and I’m covered in blood. Some of it was fake, but there was real blood going into my eye,” Jamie Dornan said.
