Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming Leo has been the subject of countless speculations since it went on the floors. Whether or not is it part of director Lokesh Kanagaraj's cinematic universe. Is this movie a remake of A History Violence? Will Kamal Haasan and Suriya appear in Leo? There were a lot of questions that fans have been grappling with from the beginning.

As if that's not enough, Leo has sparked a fresh speculation regarding its star cast. The buzz is Telugu superstar Ram Charan will be seen in the movie. What? That sounds unreal, right?

The source of this speculation

It seems a US ticketing platform is behind this speculation. According to reports, the platform in question has listed Ram Charan as one of the actors under the Leo title. And that was enough to end fans into a frenzy. It has further added to earlier reports about Lokesh roping in Charan for a special cameo.

However, so far no official confirmation on the same. The filmmakers have done very little to address the countless rumours about the movie. Instead, they have added to the wild speculations and imagination with their defiance to answer any questions regarding the movie's cast.

Earlier Lokesh explained the reason behind his unwillingness to answer fan questions. He noted that he would not like to kill the surprise or disturb the theatrical experience of the audience by addressing fan theories before the release of the movie.

So far, he hasn't even denied or confirmed whether Leo falls in the same universe as Vikram and Kaithi. However, he has there have been enough hints from his recent interviews to suggest that the film was the latest entry to LCU.

Apart from Vijay, Leo also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mansoor Ali Khan among others in the supporting cast.

Leo is due in cinemas on October 19.
