David Benioff, Dan Weiss (known for Game Of Thrones), and Alexander Woo are the showrunners of the IP that has caught the attention of the world.
While the entire first season of the show has already been released, now there is a new mystery that the fans have occupied themselves with. If the latest reports in The Hollywood Reporter are to go by, the makers David Benioff, Dan Weiss, and Alexander Woo have all suggested that the second season will be bigger than the first. David has said, "The second book is far better than the first, and the third book just completely blew my mind. The story just gets more and more ambitious as it goes. And it takes a huge leap in book two. So I feel like if we survive to the second season, we're going to be in a good place."
Alexander Woo, talking to The Wrap, said, "The goal is to get to the end of the trilogy and it seems like it would map out over probably, certainly more than two seasons but beyond that, it's hard to know exactly."
What Is 3 Body Problem About?
Based on a series of novels by Liu Cixin named Remembrance Of Earth’s Past, 3 Body Problem Season 1 followed the first book in the series. It took characters from Death’s End and The Dark Forest. The second book will form the base for the second season. However, it is not clear yet whether the makers plan to make the show a three-season affair or extend the story beyond the books.
