No other leading star in Tamil cinema in recent times has promoted a film like Kamal Haasan has been doing for Vikram. The movie produced by his home banner Raaj Kamal Films International is releasing on June 3 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Kamal has already attended the pre-release events in Chennai, Delhi, Kochi and Mumbai.

He is currently in Malaysia to meet the press and fans there as part of the promotional activities. The Ulaganayagan will be flying to Dubai and Hyderabad as well in the coming days. But what has now managed to grab the attention of film lovers is the picture which director Lokesh Kanagaraj has posted from his Twitter page.

He has released a picture of Rajinikanth and Kamal posing together for a photo. Needless to say, this has made fans of both the legends excited to the core. The comment section is filled with Rajini fans wishing success to Vikram and Kamal fans thanking them for the gesture.

Lokesh also posted a picture of him greeting Rajini with a bouquet of flowers. With the release of Vikram just five days away, movie buffs opine that makers of the film releasing photos of Kamal meeting his four decade-old friend is a masterstroke as far as its promotion is concerned.

Last month, it was the presence of Suriya in the film which made them excited. Fans are now eagerly waiting to know what all surprises the team has in store for them. Vikram is the third big ticket movie in Tamil to release this year.

Udhayanidhi Stalin has bagged theatrical rights of the movie and cinephiles are now looking forward to the first day box office numbers. Vikram marks Kamal's return to the silver screen after a hiatus of almost four years.
