Yuvan Shankar Raja croons under Imman's composition again; this time for Arya-starrer Captain

Arya and Shakti Soundar Rajan have joined hands for the second time for Captain, the shooting of which was completed a few months ago. The post production works for the project are underway in full swing. Imman, who is composing music for the action thriller, revealed through his social media page that Yuvan Shankar Raja has lent voice for an important song in the movie.

He also posted a picture of himself, the singer and the director. Madhan Karky has penned lyrics for the song. His tweet read, "Immense Joy to Record Dear brother Yuvanshankar Raja for ShaktiSounder Rajan’s next directorial #Captain Starring Arya and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead! Lyric by Madan Karky! A Breezy Melodious song coming your way soon! (sic)."

Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead in the movie which has Simran, Kavya Shetty and Harish Uthaman essaying crucial characters. Pradeep E Ragav handles editing for the film which has Moorthi at the helm of art direction. 

Yuva cranks the camera for Captain which has stunt choreography by R Sakthi Saravanan. Director Shakti has retained many crew members from his last outing Teddy (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar) which also had Arya in the lead.

The last time Yuvan had lent voice for a song under Imman's composition was for Tik Tik Tik (streaming on Zee5 and Jio Cinema) which, too, had Shakti at the helm. Actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, who has bagged theatrical rights of many big ticket projects in Tamil this year, had acquired Captain, too, a while ago.

The film is set for a theatrical release on September 8. According to Shakti, the movie will have some never-before-seen action sequences, with Arya said to have pulled off a few amazing scenes.
