Ishika (Avneet Kaur) refuses to marry anyone, till she falls in love with Luv (Sunny Singh). However things get complicated when their parents (Supriya Pathak and Annu Kapoor) realize they are each other’s childhood love.

Luv Ki Arrange Marriage begins abruptly from, you guessed it, a wedding setup. It is actually a naamkaran ceremony, which is Annu Kapoor's introduction as Prem to the film. The trailer already revealed that he is a casanova who attracts all females. This is exactly what happens. The subtle reference his character has to Lord Krishna is not-so-subtle thanks to the song on his introduction.

Just as we get to know his family history, Luv (Sunny Singh) gets introduced. He entertains people who are mourning the death of their loved ones. Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Shah Rukh Khan are mimicked in the movie. If cringe is your taste, Luv's entry is perfect. Sunny got his action hero moment with the movie but unfortunately, even that doesn't look realistic.

There's a moment when Luv convinces his father to turn into a woman, and he agrees. The next minute, you meet a female Annu Kapoor.

Supriya Pathak's entry in the movie is nothing classy. You might even wonder if she's the same person. She works in a garage and shows 'manly' traits.

Sudhir Pandey as Dadaji does not have much to offer. His role is pretty limited to analyze, and it is cliched to say the least.

Avneet Kaur's Ishika has the best introduction in the movie. She has hints of Geet but better. While her character is great, there’s little for her to do justice to it.

Paritosh Tripathi has a cameo in the film, which gets extended. He is a character that is lost in the middle of what is family matters. Even though the actor has a story, it is as abrupt as the film itself.

Ishika's first meeting with Luv is cute, and it leads to weird moments. This is exactly what the movie is all about. It suddenly shifts to a war situation. This just keeps adding to the bizarre that makes up Luv Ki Arrange Marriage.

Rajpal Yadav's entry to the movie comes in very late. In the role of Pyaare, he fits well. However, the movie gets too loud for your taste.

Pyaare and Supriya's romance surprisingly works. Meanwhile, there's another bizarre which unfolds why Annu Kapoor is in a double role in the film. Pyaare's height challenge makes for a sequence. That is something which ends before it begins.

Somehow, Luv and Pyaare end up bonding. In the weirdness, Luv and Ishika get closer. Of course, given the track record of this movie, this calls for a romantic song.

Of course, the scene shifts to the next love story. By this point, there is a lot of complications and too many love stories erupting out of the blue. This leaves you confused and mostly uninterested.

The cheesy dialogues make up for what is missing in the story but even they work at times. All the actors try but can barely save the film.

Jab Bhi Naachey is the only song which fits in with the story. It ends with an almost happy ending. There's a twist which you did not see coming but it comes way towards the end, when it is too late to save the movie from sinking.

The Ishrat Khan directorial lacks depth. There’s a lot happening and it’s all too bizarre. Also the writer of the movie, Khan could have turned the script into something interesting but Luv Ki Arrange Marriage ended up being like one of the movies from late 80s where there was a sob story and family dramas were at peak. Even if he took a chapter out of Sooraj Barjatya’s films, there’s nothing new to read.
