The series revolves around a group of hardworking, extraordinarily passionate and diligent teachers who are allocated a place in a Philadelphia public school , where they have to enable and help their students succeed, despite a heavy brunt of negating odds bundled against them, including their principal who lacks encouragement and sensitivity. Quinta Brunson serves in several capacities, being the creator, writer, director and also stars in the series. Tyler James Williams and Chris Perfetti star in crucial roles.
