Marvel's Daredevil

Created by Drew Goddard, Marvel’s Daredevil is a superhero-action series based on the popular Marvel Comics superhero, Daredevil, who was created in 1964 by Stan Lee and Bill Everett. The show follows Matt Murdock, a lawyer who was blinded due to a chemical spill as a child. However, it gave him superhuman senses that allows him to fight crime in the streets of Hell’s Kitchen, as the vigilante known as Daredevil. Charlie Cox plays the titular masked vigilante with the show also featuring performances from Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Bob Gunton and Vincent D’Onofrio as the villainous Kingpin. With Stan Lee serving as an executive producer, the show is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s continuity and was the first Marvel Series leading into The Defenders, a crossover mini-series. The show has garnered much critical acclaim and was nominated for 5 Primetime Emmy Awards.
