5 Theories That HBO Can Consider For Jon Snow Spin-off

The world was prepared when a couple of months after the release of the final season of Game Of Thrones, HBO suddenly confirmed that there would be spinoffs to the hit show, and now there is a completely new future waiting for the fans of the books and the show. Soon, House Of The Dragon became a reality with the second season now up for release. There were over five more spinoffs the makers had greenlighted, ranging from various eras of the story. But the most anticipated one out of them was always the Jon Snow Spin-off, tentatively titled Snow. While there were no updates on the same, Kit Harington broke hearts yesterday.

It was yesterday when Kit Harington confirmed that Snow is off the table as of now, and the show is not happening at HBO, at least for now. The reason is that the makers couldn’t find a story worthy of telling as a standalone sequel for the character that is one of the most loved ones on TV. As per Screenrant, Kit said, “Currently, it's off the table because we all couldn't find the right story to tell that we were all excited about enough. So, we decided to lay down tools with it for the time being. There may be a time in the future when we return to it, but at the moment, no. It's firmly on the shelf.”

Bran Turns Bad

Bran taking the throne to the Seven Kingdoms at the end of Game Of Thrones led to a lot of distress amongst a massive number of fans who were not happy with the outcome. However, now as he rules Westeros, Snow's existence will have its impact. In that case, one can think of many possibilities. If Reddit user L_E_F_T is to be believed, Bran is possessed by the three-eyed raven throughout, and the aim of the raven was to rule the kingdoms. Now, when Bran goes bad and mad, a war is started, and Jon Snow has to come beyond the wall.

Jon Snow Becomes The King

The Wildlings went beyond the wall with Jon Snow. The only person capable of leading them at the moment is Snow, and there is no doubt they will indeed choose him as their leader. So, as per user mo_exe, it could be a mini Game Of Thrones beyond the wall with some standing with Jon whereas some are against, and the ones against waging a war against him.

The Night King Returns

Okay, let’s consider a dystopian possibility. Redditor Loose_Voice_215 has a very interesting theory to share. What if The Night King returned after creating havoc and is now here to take his revenge from Jon Snow, who is now the king of the world beyond the wall? The perspective in itself is so scary that you do not want it to be real. But imagine the stakes of the show if this storyline gets approved.

Jon Snow Travels The World

Amid all the theories where Jon Snow becomes the king, he takes forward the legacy of Starks and probably goes against his brother, there is one theory that sounds very interesting. What if he followed Arya’s idea and decided to travel the world far away from Westeros? What if he crossed paths with Arya and other characters that have left? The theory comes from Reddit user Loki_Odinsotherson.

Daenerys Targaryen Is Resurrected

This has to be the wildest theory of them all. Of course, Jon Snow killing Daenerys Targaryen so she could not create more havoc is still a very controversial storyline. But imagine what if the Snow spin-off saw The Mother Of Dragons return? One cannot deny the possibility because Drogon flew away with her body into oblivion by destroying the throne. This could be a chance to revive the dead hopes of the fans.
