Bhuvan Bam on OTT censorship

When Bhuvan was asked if the OTT content needs to be censored, he said, "It depends on what you are making and how you are making it. Ultimately, censorship is not in our hands. Censorship hai toh hai, we can't do anything about it."

He further spoke about Oppenheimer which was released on July 21, 2023, in theatres. "I recently saw Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer. In that film, some weird things were censored. What can one do if there are rules in place? You have to abide by it. There's no option."

Bhuvan Bam recalls fond memories of Takeshi's Castle

In the same conversation, Bhuvan recalled his fond memories of watching Takeshi's Castle in childhood. "Just like everyone, after the last school bell would bring, I would come home and have 4 favourite shows lined up. Takeshi's Castle was one of them. It is the most vital memory. I still remember the excitement. Not only me, (people) from the 90s have this nostalgia attached to this show," he said.

Talking about the new version of the show, Bhuvan agreed there's a responsibility on him to live up to people's expectations. Having said that, the actor is excited to know how the new generation will react to Takeshi's Castle reboot.
