6 Journey is a recent Telugu film that caught everyone’s attention with its intriguing trailer. Ravi Prakash Reddy produced the film, which Bashir Alluri directed. Although the film received some decent reviews it did not perform well at the box office, mainly because it lacked popular faces in key roles.

The only known face in the cast is Tasty Teja, an ex-contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8. As per the latest update, 6 Journey has locked its OTT release. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights for a nominal price and is now streaming the film online.

6 Journey is a forest-based thriller that revolves around a serial killer on a murder spree. A unique aspect of the story is that after committing each murder, the killer leaves a rose flower as a clue. While this concept looked interesting in the trailer, the execution in the film was not very effective.

Interestingly, Amazon Prime Video has turned out to be a savior for the makers by purchasing the digital rights, even though the amount paid was modest. Tasty Teja played a key role in the film, and his performance has been well appreciated. He was roped in for a comic role, and his scenes stood out, though the film’s overall emotional impact was lacking.

The cast also includes Ravi Prakash Reddy, Sameer Dutta, Pallavi, and Ramya Reddy in key roles. The film is special because Ravi Prakash Reddy not only acted in it but also composed the background score.

In recent months, Amazon Prime has mostly been acquiring big-ticket films, while smaller-budget movies have been overlooked. However, for some reason, they chose to back 6 Journey, offering much-needed relief to the makers.
