In a Malayalam message, the Bollywood star congratulated Mohanlal on X, stating that the actor is an inspiration to all actors and truly deserves this award. "I really admire the artistry and work you do. It's truly incredible how simply you express emotions," he wrote. The duo appeared together in the 2010 Malayalam movie Kandahar.
