A month ago, the team announced that the big budget project helmed by Ravikumar is gearing up for a Deepavali release, leaving cinephiles elated. This will be Siva's second release this year after Maaveeran which will be out on July 14.

Ayalaan revolves around the arrival of an alien into the life of a youngster. How the latter's life changes in unexpected ways forms the rest of the story. Rakul Preet plays the female lead in the movie which stars Karunakaran and Yogi Babu among others in pivotal roles.

Apart from the unique plot which is expected to be a new experience to Kollywood audiences, the prime attraction of the film is going to be music by AR Rahman. The first single was unveiled long ago, leaving the maestro's fans excited. The makers have now come up with another surprise.

They have hinted at the teaser of Ayalaan coming out soon. Though the exact date has not been mentioned, it is more or less confirmed that the promo video will be unveiled in the coming weeks. A tweet from KJR Studios, which has bagged the film's theatrical rights read, "This Diwali, get ready for more than just fireworks in theatres. #Ayalaan Teaser En route to Earth (sic)."
