In shocking news, a Bhojpuri actress, Suman Kumari, has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly running a prostitution racket.

It has been reported that the 24-year-old Suman has been accused of pushing women, who are believed to be aspiring models, into prostitution in exchange for Rs 50,000–Rs 80,000 per woman.
The Mumbai police has said that Suman was caught red-handed when, after receiving a tip off, the cops raided a hotel in Mumbai's Goregaon area.
The police also rescued three women from being trapped by Suman.
According to reports, after setting a trap to catch Suman, the police sent a man to Suman, who charged him between Rs 50,000 and Rs 80,000 for one woman.
Born Suman Yadav, the actress is known popularly as Suman Kumari or Suman Kumari Tetu Gopi.
She has starred in Bhojpuri films such as Jomestic Box, Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri, and Laila Majnu.
Suman has also starred in some Hindi and Punjabi songs.
It is interesting to note that some days ago, another actor — TV actor Aarti Mittal, who has starred in soap operas such as Dharampatni, Na Umra Ki Seema Ho, Appnapan - Badalate Rishton Ka Bandhan, and Yeh Hai Chahatein — was arrested in Goregaon for running a prostitution racket.
