In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Tamil 9, the captaincy task has irked housemate Aadhirai who lost it to Tushaar, and he subsequently went on to become the first captain of the house. While Aadhirai expressed her disappointment and how the final round was misleading, in the latest promo of the weekend episode, she is seen being schooled by host Vijay Sethupathi. Aadhirai is one of the 20 housemates who entered Bigg Boss Tamil 9. In the latest, she had to compete with Praveen Raj and Tushaar for the captaincy task, which eventually led to Tushaar’s victory. Aadhirai had been disgruntled ever since then.

In the latest promo of the first weekend episode, contestants meet Vijay Sethupathi as each of them stands up and tells their names. However, Aadhirai does not stand up to tell her name. "Why only Aadhirai cannot stand up? Four of them before you stood up to introduce themselves, but why did you have to break the pattern?" asked Vijay Sethupathi, to which Aadhirai said it is their wish to stand up and she is not breaking a pattern.

"You have not come for your preferences. It is not a show for that. One has to learn to distinguish between the problem and personal,” Vijay Sethupathi said.

Aadhirai, Praveen Raj and Tushaar were asked to choose between a mask, a mouth tie, and a white uniform, which meant they might have to cover their facial expressions, not talk, and wear one dress forever. Aadhirai, Praveen Raj and Tushaar chose a mask, a white shirt and a mouth tie, respectively. Eventually, housemates voted for Tushaar, given his mouth tie also covered half his face, making it a double disadvantage. This left Aadhirai disgruntled that it is not fair for her if his mouth tie also covered up his face.
