Bison Kaalamaadan is a recently released Tamil sports drama. The film hit theatres on October 17 and opened to positive reviews. The latest person to praise the film and appreciate is Rajinikanth. Mari Selvaraj, the director and writer of Bison, shared a post on X, upon meeting the Tamil superstar.
In the post, Mari Selvaraj quoted Rajinikanth as saying, “Super Mari, Super Bison. Your effort and personality continue to amaze me, Mari. Congratulations.” Reacting to Rajinikanth’s message, Mari Selvaraj also wrote, “Just like how Superstar appreciated me over the phone after watching Pariyerum Perumal, Karnan, Maamannan, and Vaazhai, he called me and Ranjith anna again after watching my fifth film Bison to convey his heartfelt appreciation. On behalf of myself and my entire team, I sincerely thank Superstar for his kind words.”

Although Mari Selvaraj has not worked with Rajinikanth before, the actor has starred in Pa Ranjith’s Kaala and Kabali. Ranjith is one of the producers of Bison.
