Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi, who was last seen in the 2023 film Bhola Shankar, had announced his next film Vishwambhara which is in the making. Touted to be a fantasy action film, the makers of the film dropped an announcement on the film just a day ahead of Chiranjeevi's birthday on Friday. In a special video message, one can see Chiranjeevi himself addressing the audience about the film's development and also revealed a surprise loading. Vishwambhara update: Chiranjeevi talks to the audience ahead of his birthday

Megastar Chiranjeevi will be celebrating his birthday on August 22, and right ahead of it, the actor dropped a pleasant surprise for his audience with regards to his upcoming film Vishwambhara. We had earlier reported that the actor will be headlining a fantasy action film Vishwambhara helmed by Vassishta.

On Thursday, Chiranjeevi released a special video message and hared updates about the film. Speaking in Telugu, Chiranjeevi said that many have been asking about the delay in Vishwambhara and answered that it is has been a conscious decision. He added that the second half of the film relies heavily on VFX and graphics, as the makers are in full focus to deliver the best quality sans compromise. “This extra time is being spent to ensure we bring you a film that is rich in detail and leaves no room for criticism.”

Chiranjeevi gives update on teaser, release date of Vishwambhara:

The story of Vishwambhara is similar to that of a Chandamama tale, and will have magical elements to impress children. Chiranjeevi also mentioned that the makers will release a special glimpse at 6:06 pm on Thursday.

Addressing the release of Vishwambhara which had been getting delayed, Chiranjeevi finally confirmed that it will hit theatres in summer of 2026, coinciding with vacations so that every child can watch the film.

The shooting of the film recently wrapped, including a high-octane mass dance number featuring Chiranjeevi and Mouni Roy and composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. With Trisha Krishnan playing the female lead, the score is composed by MM Keeravani. Ashika Ranganath and Kunal Kapoor are playing pivotal roles. Vishwambhara is shot by Chota K Naidu.
