The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Dear Students, have revealed its teaser today (August 15). Along with the announcement that the film would soon be released on the big screen, it offers a sneak peek at all of its main characters.

An introduction to Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara's characters is given in the one minute and eighteen-second video. It starts with Nayanthara, a police officer, seemingly questioning Nivin, the proprietor of a restaurant, about a case. Soon after, a group of mischievous classmates has been shown for the audience. It is still unclear how they are related to Nivin's character. On the other hand, it suggests a humorous school movie that will be shown in theatres. The character that Nivin seems to be portraying is one that Malayalis enjoy seeing him play.

Cast and crew of Dear Students

The new project, which is being directed and written by debutantes Sandeep Kumar and George Philip Roy, will be funded by Pauly Jr. Pictures, the actor's production company. A lively adventure of love and laughter was hinted at in the teaser that Nivin and the rest of the cast and crew provided. The main character of this movie is a man who does everything in his power to win the girl he loves and win her marriage. The main focus of the film is his amusing efforts.
