Demonte Colony 2 wrapped, makers unveil intriguing BTS video featuring Arulnithi, Priya Bhavani Shankar

Movie buffs were in for a surprise when the makers of the horror flick Demonte Colony announced a sequel to it. The second part was initially supposed to be helmed by a new director, but later, Ajay Gnanamuthu, who directed the first part, decided to wield the megaphone.

Arulnithi, who played the lead in the first installment, is playing one of the lead roles this time, too, Priya Bhavani Shankar will be essaying another lead and the team is yet to reveal anything about their characters. The former's role ends with his death in the climax of the first part, and hence, cinephiles are wondering if Demonte Colony 2 has a new story.

The team has now unveiled a promo video to announce that they have wrapped shooting for the movie. They have also provided a glimpse into some of the action and spooky sequences that are expected to be crucial portions of the film.

Arulnithi and Priya are spotted in the BTS video which involves underwater scenes and a mysterious old man who is likely to play a key part in the movie. Going by the video, the story of Demonte Colony 2 must be happening in a huge building where a lion's share of the portions is said to be shot.

Sam CS has composed music for the project which has cinematography by Harish Kannan and editing by Kumaresh. Vijayasubramanian and RC Rajkumar have bankrolled Demonte Colony 2 which will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.

The multi-lingual film's release date is expected to be announced soon. The movie marks the second outing for Arulnithi and Priya together after Kalathil Sandhippom.
