As per Sacnilk, Dhurandhar collected Rs. 29 crore, which is a little less than the previous day's. With this, the film minted Rs. 379.75 crore in total after 11 days. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar had an overall 42.35% Hindi Occupancy on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Dhurandhar has beaten Aamir Khan's Dangal's lifetime collection of Rs. 374.43 crore at the domestic box office in Hindi. It has also surpassed the total collections of films like Sanju, PK, Saiyaara, and War. The films collected Rs. 342 crore, Rs. 341 crore, and Rs. 330 crore, respectively.

Dhurandhar plot

Dhurandhar is a fictional spy thriller inspired by real-life Indian intelligence operations and the Karachi gang wars (Operation Lyari). The film blends true events and real-life characters with fictional storytelling, centred around themes of patriotism, sacrifice, betrayal, and the brutal reality of counterterrorism.

The plot centres on an Indian Intelligence Bureau (IB) chief, Ajay Sanyal, who recruits a young, death-row inmate from Punjab named Jaskirat Singh Rangi. Rangi, imprisoned for a revenge-driven crime, is selected for "Operation Dhurandhar," a long-term operation to dismantle terrorist networks, drug syndicates and powerful gang connections in the notorious Lyari area of ​​Karachi.

Rangi is given the alias "Hamza Ali Ansari", and he begins his mission to prevent a terrorist attack in India, targeting important people, including ruthless gangster Rehman Dakait and dangerous ISI operative Major Iqbal.

Shraddha Kapoor praises Dhurandhar

Recently Shraddha Kapoor reviewed Dhurandhar and called it a 'phenomenal experience.' She wrote, "Truly terrible of Aditya Dhar to make a film like Dhurandhar. And then make us wait three months for Part 2."

She said that the makers should pre pone the release of Dhurandhar Part 2 and added, "What a phenomenal experience. Subah shoot nahi hoti toh kasam se abhi hi dobara dekhne jaati (had I not had a shoot in the morning, I would have gone again to watch the film). Chhaava, Saiyaara, Dhurandhar — all in 2025 Hindi cinema."

The actress also mentioned that despite negative PR trying to cancel the film, Aditya Dhar's directorial proved, 'No bad force can pull a good film down.'
