Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming film Drishyam 3, helmed by director Jeethu Joseph, has wrapped up its shooting! The makers of Drishyam 3, which is undoubtedly the most-anticipated Malayalam film of 2026, have also released a video, showing the post-wrap-up celebrations on the film sets. Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 wrapped up

Mohanlal took to social media on Tuesday to give a sneak-peek into the final moments of Drishyam 3 sets as Jeethu Joseph calls for pack-up. In the video shared on Instagram, Mohanlal is seen surprised as Jeethu Joseph says ok to the final shot and the cast and crew of Drishyam 3 are seen celebrating. Mohanlal also cut a cake along with Jeethu and producer Antony Perumbavoor. Actors Murali Gopy (who was part of Drishyam 2 as IG Thomas) and Siddique (who featured both in Drishyam 1 and 2) are also seen along with Mohanlal.

The BTS from the sets also has Santhi Mayadevi who plays advocate Renuka in Drishyam 2 with Georgekutty, Mohanlal’s much-loved character. The video ends with a handwritten note of Snehathode Georgekutty (with love Georgekutty), which appears to be written by Mohanlal himself.

Mohanlal is also seen asking if it is correct, and he is assured that it indeed is. Earlier, it was said that Drishyam 3 will be wrapped up by December 4. Mohanlal is now headed to Jailer 2 shoot with Rajinikanth, as per reports.

Drishyam 3 rights sold

Last week, Drishyam 3 hogged headlines after it was revealed that Panorama Studios has acquired the rights for the third installment in the popular Malayalam franchise. This had led to speculations of whether Drishyam 3 will release first in Malayalam or would it be a simultaneous release along with the Hindi version. However, reports claim that Drishyam 3 will first release in Malayalam. The Hindi version, led by Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, is yet to start shooting. Drishyam 3 will continue with the tale of Georgekutty, who fiercely protects his family from law enforcement after a murder is committed in his household.
