Dude release date

Dude is set to release in theatres on October 17 for the occasion of Diwali. The film will be competing at the box office with two other Tamil films; Bison starring Dhruv Vikram and directed by Mari Selvaraj, and Harish Kalyan’s Diesel.

The trailer of Dude was released by the makers a few days ago. On the lines of commercial entertainer, the trailer exhibits an eccentric and whacky tone to the film. Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju are shown to go through a rollercoaster ride of emotions, with Pradeep’s character harbouring unsaid feelings to the female lead. The trailer has garnered over 15 million views already in two days.

Dude plot

The story of Dude revolves around Agan (Pradeep) and Kural (Mamitha), who grew up from childhood inseparable. What is a deep and strong bond between them soon turns into a turmoil when romance blooms for one of them. With Agan to fight his unspoken feelings for her, Kural is torn between struggle and conflict of their relationship. The the film revolves around Agan’s efforts to make Kural happy while fighting the pain of his unspoken love.

Dude cast and crew

Dude features the first time Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju combination for the first time. They are supported by actors Sarath Kumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, Aishwarya Sharma, Dravid Selvam, and others. Dude marks the directorial debut of Keerthiswaran who previously assisted Sudha Kongara. With music by Sai Abhyankkar, the film is shot by Niketh Bommi and edits handled by Barath Vikraman. Yannick Ben, Dinesh Subbarayan are the action coordinators.
