Deewaniyat: Harshvardhan Rane announces new 'soul-stirring musical love story' amid Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release success

Harshvardhan Rane has announced his new film titled Deewaniyat. This announcement comes amid the phenomenal success of Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release.

Harshvardhan Rane is riding high on the box office success of his film Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release. The film returned to cinemas nine years after its theatrical release. It crossed the lifetime box office collection of its original release in a few days. Following Sanam Teri Kasam's grand comeback, Harshvardhan has announced his new film, Deewaniyat. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres this year.

Harshvardhan Rane to star in Deewaniyat

Harshvardhan Rane took to his official Instagram account to announce Deewaniyat. The actor shared the motion poster of his upcoming project. The movie, directed by filmmaker Milap Zaveri, promises a tale of 'love, heartbreak and music'. The makers have promised that Rane's new project will be a 'soul-stirring' musical love story. While sharing the motion poster on IG, Harshvardhan wrote, "Announcing Our Next: Deewaniyat A soul-stirring musical love story starring harshvardhanrane, following the phenomenal success to the re-release of SanamTeriKasam. Written & Directed by milapzaveri Co-written bymushtaqshiekh Produced by amulvmohan & anshulmohan vikirfilms – the makers of the blockbuster TheSabarmatiReport (sic)."

Deewaniyat has been written by Milzap Zaveri and Mushtaq Sheikh. On the other hand, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan are the producers of the movie.

Harshvardhan Rane on Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release

Harshvardhan Rane's film Sanam Teri Kasam opened at Rs 5.14 crore upon its theatrical re-release. The actor shared a video where he surprised his fans in a cinema hall during Sanam Teri Kasam's screening. He posted the clip on his social media account and penned, "I just did my job, Deepak sir did his task, and now you are doing your duty! (sic)."
