The Malayalam film I'm Game, starring actor Dulquer Salmaan, is inching closer to the completion of its shoot. Helmed by Nahas Hidayath, the action-packed film has entered its final schedule of shooting, online trackers have reported. The film is scheduled for a festival release for Onam 2026.

What’s update on Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game

The final schedule of 2026 movie I’m Game started in Chennai on February 11, and the entire shoot is expected to be wrapped up by March, as per trackers online. The Dulqer Salmaan film would then have four months of post-production, and hit screens for Onam 2026, which falls in August this year. However, the makers have not given out an exact date.

Notably, Dulquer was last seen in a Malayalam film, Lokah, which was also an Onam release in 2025. Dulquer had backed the film, and made a cameo appearance as an Odiyan.

Several other Malayalam films would also be in race for Onam. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Khalifa Part 1 will also hit cinemas in Onam 2026.

Who are the actors in I’m Game

Dulquer Salmaan plays the lead role in I’m Game, while actor Antony Varghese Pepe also appears in a key role.

Noted Tamil director Mysskin is also part of the film, marking his Malayalam debut. Tamil actor Kathir also features in the film along with Samyuktha Viswanathan.

Dulquer Salmaan would be looking to make a grand return to his home industry of Malayalam with I’m Game after several releases in Tamil and Telugu cinema. The actor, who had recently completed 14 years in cinema, had also released a new poster of I’m Game that exuded gangster vibes. His 2024 Telugu film Lucky Baskhar, which opened to favourable reviews, was a hit, while the 2025 Tamil movie Kantha opened to mixed reviews and did not click at the box office.
