Jailer director Nelson reviews Modern Love Chennai: 'Thiagarajan Kumararaja film has magical visuals'

Jailer director Nelson has raved about Thiagarajan Kumararaja's short film Ninaivo Oru Paravai from the anthology series Modern Love Chennai.

Ahead of the premiere of the first edition of Modern Love: Chennai , filmmaker Nelson has given a rave review for the short film titled Ninaivo Oru Paravai, which is directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja. He took to Twitter to express his appreciation for the director's unique approach to storytelling and the captivating visuals presented in the romantic tale.

"Happened to watch Thiyagarajankumararaja sir’s #Ninaivooruparavai from #ModernLoveChennai. What an abstract and creative way to approach a love story, magical visuals and technical brilliance at its finest form, and added with excellent performances from the cast. Don't miss it," Nelson wrote on his Twitter account.

Modern Love: Chennai draws inspiration from the renowned New York Times column and presents a collection of six stories that provide a heartfelt glimpse into the essence of Chennai, featuring its diverse landscapes and inhabitants. The anthology series is scheduled to make its debut on May 18.

Besides Thiagarajan Kumararaja, renowned filmmakers Bharathiraja, Balaji Sakthivel, Rajumurugan, Krishnakumar Ramakumar, and Akshay Sundher have also contributed their directorial talents to the anthology. The ensemble cast features acclaimed actors such as Ritu Varma, Ashok Selvan, Ramya Nambessan, Wamiqa, Sri Gouri Priya, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Pawan Alex, Aniiruth Kanakarajan, T J Bhanu, Sanjula Sarathi, Chu Khoy Sheng, Srikrishna Dayal, Vasudevan Murali, Vasundhara, Kishore, and Vijayalakshmi.

Meanwhile, Nelso is busy with the post-production work of Jailer . Starring Superstar Rajinikanth, the film is set to arrive in cinemas on Ausgut 10. Apart from Rajinikanth, Jailer also features a star-studded ensemble cast comprising Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Vinayakan, among others.
