Jeethu Joseph: Drishyam 3 Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu versions will have the same story

Jeethu stated in an interview with the media outlet that because of the major actors' dates, it might not be able to shoot the movie at the same time.

Fans of Mohanlal and moviegoers alike eagerly await any updates on Drishyam 3, which is directed by Jeethu Joseph. Another significant development regarding its theatrical release was revealed by Jeethu in a conversation with a media outlet.

Drishyam 3 to be released in multiple languages simultaneously

Jeethu stated in an interview with the media outlet that the third installment of the well-liked franchise will be screened in theatres simultaneously in Malayalam, Hindi, and Telugu because releasing the films on various dates might mitigate its reception in other languages. He noted that because of the major actors' dates, it might not be able to shoot the movie at the same time.

Ajay Devgn and Venkatesh will play the lead roles in Hindi and Telugu, respectively, while Mohanlal will star in the Malayalam movie. Jeethu has also disclosed that the project's script is almost finished and that the plot of all three films will be the same, with appropriate cultural alterations.

Drishyam 3 to be shot from October 2025

Producers recently announced that Drishyam 3 will begin the shooting in October. According to earlier rumours, Jeethu Joseph and his crew were scheduled to begin filming in September. Nonetheless, the producers have now formally confirmed that filming will start after Onam 2025. A number of other languages have seen the adaptation of Drishyam films.

The Drishyam film series chronicles the struggle of a man's struggle to save his family after an accident happens in their house. The police pursue the family after the victim of this accident, IG Geeth Prabhakar's son Varun disappears, but Georgekutty's foresight keeps them alive. Despite their conviction that Varun was murdered, the police are unable to locate the body. An eyewitness claims to know the precise location of the body's burial in the second section, giving the police a breakthrough; nonetheless, Georgekutty eludes capture once more. The third installment of the successful movie series is reportedly the last one.
