Konkona Sen Sharma will be directing her first digital long-form project, a comedy series for Prime Video. Following her critically acclaimed 2017 feature film A Death in the Gunj and her 2023 anthology Lust Stories 2 part, she is making her directorial debut for a web series with this project.

According to a report in Peeping Moon, rumours have it that the urban setting of South Delhi will serve as the backdrop for an upcoming comedy-romance series on Prime Video. This show will be co-directed by Sen Sharma and Jaydeep Sarkar, who has directed Feels Like Ishq on Netflix and Rainbow Rishta on Prime Video, among other documentaries. Sen Sharma's 2020 delayed web series about cabaret artist Arati Das, alias Miss Shefali, was supposed to be her digital directing debut; instead, she's stepping into a lighter genre.

The series' casting process has just begun. Sources expect production to commence in December or early next year, provided they secure the schedules of the key actors. This collaboration is Sen Sharma's second association with Amazon Prime Video, following her acting role in the highly regarded medical drama Mumbai Diaries.

Soon after JioHotstar streams the series, the multi-talented performer will appear in a Dharmatic Entertainment-produced romantic drama on Netflix. In the project, she will co-star with Pratibha Ranta.
