Core philosophers and narrator

Veteran voice performers constitute the bulk of the cast. The protagonist of the story, the narrator who describes the fight, voiced by Vinod Sharma, is Sanjay. At the centre of the series is the fundamental truth, "Iss yuddh mein na koi mitra hai, na koi shatru" (this conflict has no friends or enemies)—embodied by Sahil Vaid as Lord Krishn, the epic's guide and philosopher.

The Pandava brothers

The primary Pandava brothers are voiced by Saumya Daan as Arjun, who portrays the warrior’s agonising dilemma before the battle; Annamaya Verma as the righteous Yudhisthir; and Manoj Pandey as the powerful Bheem. Ankit Goswami and Feroze Khan provide the voices for the twins, Nakul and Sahdev, respectively.

Neha Gargava lends her voice to the character of Kunti, the Pandavas' mother, and other important allied and familial figures are also present. Sanket Mhatre voices Balram, Krishn's older brother.

The Kaurava camp

Pawan Kalra, who plays Duryodhan, the main antagonist, and embodies the Kauravas' desire for dominance, gives life to the character. Krutarth Trivedi provides the voice for the revered warrior Karn. Dushasan is voiced by Sanchit Wartak, and Ashwatthama is played by Pushkar Vijay. The crucial supporting players on the Kaurava side include Vinod Kulkarni as the cunning Shakuni.

Nand Kishore Pandey brings the serious knowledge of Bhishm, one of the saga's elder statesmen and gurus, to life onscreen. Anil Dutt portrays the guru Dronacharya, while Ajay Singhal portrays the blind king Dhritrashtra.

Powerful female characters

Each of the powerful ladies in the epic has a significant voice in the series. In Neshma Chemburkar's portrayal of Draupadi, the stark promise of justice serves as the main theme. The loyal queen Gandhari is voiced by Sabina Malik. Rajesh Jolly, who has long served as the epic's traditional scribe, lends his voice to the revered sage Vyas.

Anu Sikka conceived and developed the innovative Kurukshetra which will be available on Netflix India. Hitech Animation created the animation, and Ujaan Ganguly is credited as the writer and director. The renowned poet Gulzar's lyrical genius elevates the series even further; his expressive words give the story more nuance and feeling. The purpose of the 18-part tale, which is divided into two parts, is to bring the timeless problems of India's greatest dharmayuddh to a contemporary, international audience.
