Malayalam actor Dileep’s much-talked-about film Bha Bha Ba will release in theatres, even as Nivin Pauly forays into the digital space. Megastar Mammootty’s much-delayed film Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse also makes its debut in digital release finally this week. Bha Bha Ba

Release date: December 18, 2025

After Prince and Family, Malayalam actor Dileep returns to the big screen with his latest film Bha Bha. The film has sparked heated debates, as it hits theatres within 10 days of its acquittal in the Kerala actress assault case of 2017. Superstar Mohanlal will also be seen in an extended cameo in the film, which claims to be pure madness. Vineeth and Dhyan Sreenivasan are also part of the movie. Vineeth had also sung the song Azhinjattam along with the veteran MG Sreekumar, that was released on Monday. Much like the recent Bha Bha Ba trailer the song has also drawn drastically different reactions.

The series Pharma, which had got delayed over various reasons, will finally hit the digital space this week. Nivin Pauly’s web series debut is the biggest highlight of the series, which also brings together Rajit Kapur, Binu Pappu, Narain and Shruti Ramachandran among others. Touted to be a medical series, Pharma seeks to expose the malpractises in the industry through KP Vindo (Nivin Pauly).

Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse

Release date: December 19, 2025

Another long-delayed film, Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse was Mammootty’s first theatrical release of the year and is just about to make its digital debut before the year wraps up. The veteran actor is seen as the titular Dominic, a detective, who picks up a seemingly simple case but gets pulled into far bigger. Actor Gokul Suresh is also part of the film, helmed by Tamil filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon. It opened to mixed reviews, but Dominic is much-awaited in the digital space.

Besty

This little-known Malayalam film Besty revolves around a couple who split up due to miscommunication and misunderstanding. Shanu Samad has penned and helmed this film, which features Ashkar Saudan, Shaheen Siddique and Sakshi Agarwal. The film had a theatrical release in January this year and has already made its digital debut this week.
