Lokah Chapter 1 box office collection day 18: Kalyani Priyadarshan has done the unthinkable! The first Malayalam actress to enter the Rs 200 crore club has now made it to the prestigious list of the top three highest-grossing films in Mollywood. The Dominic Arun directorial, backed by actor-producer Dulquer Salmaan, beat Thudarum as it completed 18 days at the box office.

Young actor Kalyani Priyadarshan leads the Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra, which has raked in a worldwide collection of Rs 236.5 crore, as per trade tracker Sacnilk. This puts the woman superhero film ahead of Mohanlal-starrer Thudarum, which has worldwide earnings of Rs 235.38 crore, according to the Sacnilk website.

Lokah, which also stars Naslen, would be now eying to take over Manjummel Boys, which has a worldwide collection of Rs 240.5 crore. The top position is also held by Mohanlal, with his L2 Empuraan raking in a whopping Rs 266.81 crore at the box office. Notably, both Thudarum and Empuraan are Mohanlal’s 2025 releases. His third release Hridayapoorvam, clashed with Kalyani’s Lokah at the Onam box office, with both hitting the screens on August 28, 2025.

On September 14 (third Sunday), Lokah made Rs 6.85 crore in India net collections, taking the total domestic earnings to Rs 119.25 crore.

On the other hand, Hridayapoorvam is the only Onam release which is raking in profits at the box office with Rs 67.75 crore earnings. Kalyani had one more release of Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil in the lead, which failed to make any dent at the box office. The film is languishing with just Rs 2.09 crore collections. But Maine Pyar Kiya suffered the most with Hridhu Haroon and Preity Mukhundhan’s film failing to make even Rs 1 crore, as per Sacnilk.
