With the likes of Udhayanidhi, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh on board, fans can't wait to see the film in theatres. It is slated for a release in June, but an exact date is yet to be announced.

One of the reasons people have high hopes pinned on the project is AR Rahman's music. This is his first collaboration with Mari. A few days ago, a picture of Vadivelu singing in a studio was revealed by makers. The team has now announced an update on its first single.

The song crooned by Vadivelu will be out on May 19. They have released a new poster as well along with the update. The veteran comedian lent voice for a song in his last outing Naai Sekar Returns, too, which was composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

Netflix has bagged the post theatrical digital rights of Maamannan while Kalaignar TV has acquired its satellite rights. Theni Eswar and Selva RK have handled cinematography and editing respectively. Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed action sequences while Sandy has helmed dance portions.
