Sridevi’s last movie Mom (2017) made headlines when her producer-husband Boney Kapoor had confirmed that he would start working on a sequel to the film and it would star Khushi Kapoor as one of the central characters. The producer has now shared that the movie has taken off and is on floors in Noida. The film went on floors in UP’s Film City, amid which Boney shared an update about the movie with the media. What did Boney Kapoor share about Mom 2?

While speaking about Mom 2 with the media, Boney Kapoor spilled the exact update on the filming of his next. "The shooting of the film Mom 2 is going on here. The director is Girish Kohli, who was the writer of Mom 1. We have technicians from different places; we have an actor from Bengal - Jisshu, and have a television actor, Karishma Tanna, who is also playing a very important part in the film," Boney shared. With that, the producer cleared that the movie is on floors with Jisshu Sengupta and Karishma Tanna.

Is Khushi Kapoor a part of Mom 2?

While Boney Kapoor had promised that Khushi Kapoor will be a part of Mom sequel, he did not share the particular update during his recent chat. For the unversed, Khushi has already made her acting debut as well as big screen debut. She was seen in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies which also featured Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan. Khushi made her big screen debut with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan.
