Thadayam - ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium (February 27)

Thadayam is a crime web series featuring Samuthirakani in the lead role. Directed by Naveen Kumar Palanivel, the series is set in 1999 and revolves around a string of brutal midnight murder that takes place in the Tamil Nadu borders. A new police officer arrives to solve the case as he cracks a pattern.

Legacy – Netflix

Legacy is an upcoming Tamil web series helmed by Charukesh Sekar. It features R Madhavan, Nimisha Sajayan, Gulshan Devaiah and others. Expected to be a gritty gangster drama with a family at the centre, Gautham Karthik and Abhishek Banerjee are also part of Legacy.

#Love – Netflix

#Love is a romantic drama series directed by Balaji Mohan. It features Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles. Revolving around two individuals who are poles opposite in their beliefs, the series takes up through what happens when the duo accepts a challenge with results that come unexpected.

Heart Beat S3 - JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium

Heart Beat S3 is a medical drama series. With over 100 episodes in the first two seasons, it will be returning for the third season. The cast includes Anumol, Karthik Kumar, Deepa Balu and others who will be reprising their roles. Deepak Soundarajan will be helming the third season.

The Madras Mystery – Fall of a Superstar - SonyLIV via OTTplay Premium

The Madras Mystery – Fall of a Superstar is an upcoming series starring Naziya Fahadh. With AL Vijay as showrunner, the series is directed by Sooriyaprathap. The ensemble cast includes Natty, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Nasser, YG Mahendran and others. While the project marks Nazriya’s return to Tamil cinema as well as OTT space, the series is about the infamous murder of journalist Lakshmikanthan and trial that involved M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar and N. S. Krishnan as suspects.

Good Wife 2 - JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium

Good Wife 2 is the second instalment of the Priyamani-led legal family drama. While the first part was directed by Revathy, the second part will have Halitha Shameem take over. The series is about a former lawyer-turned-housewife, who comes back to the spotlight and begins practising after her husband gets involved in a high-profile scandal.

Kaattaan - JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium

Kaattan is a rural action-drama series which features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. The actor has also produced the series which is helmed by Manikandan of Kadaisi Vivasayi and Kaka Muttai fame. It is a story of a man who becomes a 'legend, monster and miracle' as per the makers.

Lingam - JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium

Lingam stars Kathir and Divya Bharathi, Poornima Ravi in the lead roles. It is directed by Lakshmi Saravanakumar. Based on a gangster’s life, the series also has an element of kabaddi. Lingam is based on a story that was once published in a Tamil magazine years ago.

Once Upon A Time in Kayamkulam – ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium

Once Upon A Time in Kayamkulam is a Tamil-Malayalam web series, directed by Ameen Barif. It is billed to be a ‘grounded heist comedy with a strong regional flavour’. With elements of comedy, clever twists, and contemporary storytelling, Once Upon A Time in Kayamkulam has actors Anbuselvan, Subhas, Ramesh Madhavan, Vinsu Rachel, Rakesh Ushar, Gouthami Nair, Savithri, Vijay Sathya, Arun, and Vigneswar.

Theevinai Pottru – SonyLIV via OTTplay Premium

Theevinai Pottru is billed as a rural murder mystery, with Aishwarya Lekshmi leading the project. Helmed by Sathish Raja Dharmar, it will also feature actors Sathyaraj, Kalaiyarasan, Bhagyaraj, Vidaarth, Sshivada, Sruthi Hariharan, and others.
