Talented actor Naga Shaurya continues to pick enterprising scripts and the upcoming, and 23rd, film of his career already has evoked a lot of curiosity. Written and directed by debutant Pawan Basamsetti, the film stars Yukti Thareja as the female lead and has been billed as a thorough family entertainer.

On the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the makers announced the title of the project and it happens to be a catchy one. Naga Shaurya's 23rd film will be called Rangabali - the team took to social media to share a small video teaser to unveil the title.

Although unconfirmed, reports inform us that Rangabali is set against the backdrop of a village. The team is said to be in the last leg of shooting at the moment.

As far as the core crew is concerned, Pawan CH has composed the music with Divakar Mani and Karthik Simha handling cinematography and editing, respectively. Sudhakar Cherukuri has produced the film under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas LLP banner.

Naga Shaurya, who has risen through the ranks over the years with films like Oohalu Gusagusalade, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya, Chalo, Oh! Baby, and others, has had to endure a few underwhelming results recently. Some of his more recent releases like Lakshya, Krishna Vrinda Vihari and Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi have failed to yield the desired box office results, despite boasting a lot of promise. The actor, and his fans alike, would certainly hope that the remainder of 2023 has better prospects in store.
