Not just these, Nivin Pauly has some exciting projects lined up too, including the Tamil film Benz, where he turns a dark villain, Walter. What’s Nivin Pauly’s role in Benz

Benz is an upcoming Tamil movie, which stars Nivin Pauly as the villain Walter. The film is part of director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s popular LCU, which includes Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram with Tamil star Suriya as the villain. In a recent press meet in Kochi, Nivin Pauly was asked about his Benz role, but he quickly brushed away the comparisons

“"Ayyo, no need to compare. This is a villain character. Cannot say it is like Rolex and all,” said the actor, who is in Kochi for the promotions of his upcoming film Baby Girl which will release in theatres on January 23, 2026.

Benz is helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, based on a story by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This is the first LCU film that Lokesh is not directing. Lokesh had helmed the 2022 film Vikram, which featured Suriya as the villain. Though a cameo appearance, this was one of the highlights of Kamal Haasan-starrer.

What is the update on Benz

Nivin Pauly said that he has 35 more days of shoot left for Benz. “I am currently working on the film, titled Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. After that, will be the (Benz) shoot,” the actor said during the Baby Girl press meet.

Raghava Lawrence is the lead actor in Benz, along with Samyuktha.

On the other hand, Nivin Pauly’s Benz features Lijomol Jose, and Sangeeth Prathap in key roles along with Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, Aditi Ravi and Azees Nedumangad.
