Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly is getting ready for the theatrical release of his next movie, Sarvam Maya. His fans are anticipated to have a hilarious treat from the horror comedy this Christmas, as it is scheduled for release on December 25. In the meantime, the actor discussed his reasons for collaborating with Akhil Sathyan, the film's director, in an interview with Mathrubhumi Online.

'Akhil Sathyan's call for Sarvam Maya'

Nivin disclosed that Akhil Sathyan had extended an offer to him to be a part of Sarvam Maya, promising him an enjoyable and stress-free period of time. "I have never received a request to appear in a movie this way. That's what made this movie so appealing for me. Additionally, when I initially heard Akhil's narration, I enjoyed it," he remarked. The Pharma actor went on to say that he chose to proceed because it was a horror-comedy movie, something he has never done before.

The movie was temporarily halted when some small disagreements emerged during the ensuing conversations. The actor claimed that Akhil later visited the set of another movie and gave him a revised version of the story. "I was drawn to this movie by Akhil's confidence that I would enjoy working in this film and this character," he remarked.

Nivin said, "I really love the character of Prabhendu Namboothiri in Sarvam Maya." He went on to say that he wanted a break from the serious roles he is being offered now. "Despite being classified as a horror comedy, the movie has poignant moments. There will be at least fifty humorous half-hour segments in the Behind the Scenes (BTS) of this movie if it is released, he said. Nivin said that the movie has benefited from his camaraderie with Aju Varghese. "One's performance is fully supported by the other, which is the best part of us working together," he continued.
