Nivin Pauly has a new project to add to his already impressive line-up of films. He is set to work on the upcoming political thriller directed by B Unnikrishnan, which has not yet been given a title. The actor's fans, meantime, are split on this news because the director's last three films, Christopher, Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakeel, and Aaraattu, were box office failures and received negative reviews from the audience in theatres as well as online.

Nivin's upcoming Malayalam films in 2025

The actor is reportedly set to play the lead in the Malayalam zombie thriller Jambi, whereas his other flicks, including Dear Students and Baby Girl, prepare for theatrical release. Given that Nivin already has a lot of projects planned for this year, sources say the producers are trying to reschedule his work plan to make room for Jambi's filming. An official update is expected in the coming days.

The teaser for Dear Students, which also stars Nayanthara and several newbies, recently attracted attention from audiences. Meanwhile, Baby Girl is directed by Garudan-fame Arun Varma. In addition, Nivin is the main lead in Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, a romantic comedy drama backed by Premalu's makers and starring Mamitha Baiju in a key part. In Sarvam Maya, a horror comedy directed by Akhil Sathyan, Nivin plays the protagonist role. Furthermore, the film is reportedly scheduled for a big-screen premiere around Christmas 2025. Among his next Malayalam projects are Dolby Dineshan and Multiverse Manmadan.
