O’Romeo box office collection Day 5: Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s unique mix of romance and crime drama has managed to hold its pace at the box office despite tough competition with Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav’s survival thriller Tu Yaaa Main. On the fifth day, O’Romeo performed better and showed some growth. It crossed the Rs 40 crore mark and also observed a higher occupancy as compared to the previous day. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, O’Romeo is one of the big releases of the year and also marks his fourth reunion with Shahid Kapoor after Rangoon. How much O’Romeo collected on Day 5?

O’Romeo showed positive signs of growth with its increased footfall and occupancy on Tuesday. As per the early estimates of Sacnilk, O’Romeo surpassed Rs 40 crore. After opening with Rs 8 crore on February 13, O’Romeo witnessed a sharp rise in its numbers on Valentine's Day with double digits (Rs 12.65 crore). After a decline on its first Monday with Rs 4.85 crore, O’Romeo is back on track with promising numbers as it added another Rs 5 crore on the fifth day (early estimates). As per the industry tracker, O’Romeo minted Rs 62.5 crore worldwide and Rs 47.2 crore gross in India.

How Tu Yaa Main performed at the box office?

Tu Yaa Main failed to attract viewers despite its gory violence and crocodile survival thriller. Featuring Shanaya Khan and Adarsh Gourav in the lead as two influencers, grappling to survive with a deadly crocodile, Tu Yaa Main is currently struggling to even cross Rs 5 crore. Bejoy Nambiar’s romance and survival thriller is not even close to earning double digits even after completing five days of its theatrical run.
