The film will be released in two parts in Diwali 2026 and 2027, respectively. The first look of Ramayana already garnered a lot of attention, and now the makers are all set to unveil a new 3D promo.

The makers will unveil a 3D promo of Ramayana in theatres with James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. Meanwhile, Avatar: Fire and Ash is all set to hit cinemas on December 19, 2025, in India and with this release, fans can get a glimpse of the Ramayana 3D promo.

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is a massive two-part film adaptation of the Indian epic, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, with Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.

It highlights the classic tale of love, duty, exile, and the war against evil, featuring huge VFX. The story follows the tale of Rama and Sita, whose marriage and subsequent exile spark a legendary quest that highlights themes of love, duty, and destiny. It centres on Rama, Sita and the demon king Ravana, with crucial roles for Hanuman and Lakshman. The music is done by Hans Zimmer & A.R. Rahman.

Pinkvilla earlier reported that Yash has a full-length role with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in Ramayana Part One.

“Yash started shooting for Ramayana: Part One on April 30, and has shot for over 50 days for just the first instalment. He has a screen time in excess of one hour in Ramayana: Part One, which acts as a build-up for the battle royale for the second part. Ramayana: Part,” revealed the source.
