We at OTTplay have learned that Rasha will play the female lead in superstar Mahesh Babu's nephew Jaya Krishna's debut film as a hero. Ajay Bhupathi, who delivered sensational hits like RX 100 and Mangalavaaram, will helm the film on a massive scale.

On the other hand, the makers met Rasha’s parents, Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani, a few months ago and finalized her for the film. Currently in pre-production, the film will feature Rasha in a performance-oriented role, which reportedly convinced her parents to approve her debut alongside a newcomer.

Rasha Thadani, known for her fabulous dancing and acting skills, now has a golden opportunity, and it remains to be seen what kind of role Ajay Bhupathi crafts for her in this project.

The youthful drama has been in the news for a long time and is finally set to go on floors. A source close to the unit revealed that the film will be officially announced soon, with the shoot beginning on October 15, 2025, post-Dussehra.

The makers also plan a special event to announce Jaya Krishna’s arrival on the big screen. Jaya Krishna is the son of Mahesh Babu's brother, the late Ramesh Babu, and the grandson of the legendary Telugu star, Ghattamaneni Krishna. Having trained in the US, Jaya Krishna is now all set to make his mark in cinema.
