Actor Arun Vijay, who was last seen in this year Tamil film Vanangaan, will be starring in a film titled Retta Thala. The makers of the film released the teaser on social media on Thursday. Retta Thala is directed by Kris Thirukumaran who earlier helmed Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Maan Karate and Udhayanidhi Stalin's Gethu. Arun Vijay will be playing dual roles in the upcoming action thriller.

Retta Thala is an upcoming Tamil film starring Arun Vijay. The teaser of the film is now out. The teaser promises to be an intense and sleek action avatar, as we come to know about a dreaded gangster. The film is set in Goa. Arun Vijay comes in two getups and the teaser is filled with action sequences without revealing the plot.

Earlier speaking with OTTplay, director Kris Thirukumaran said that it will be an action thriller and Arun Vijay will be playing dual roles. He had said, “Ondril irundhu ondru (one from one), ondru kaga ondru (one for one), ondru kondru ondru (one kills one). This is the one-liner and the basic idea of the film .”

What else do we know about Retta Thala?

Besides Arun Vijay, the film will also feature Siddhi Idnani and Tanya Ravichandran. Yogi Samy, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, Balaji Murugadoss are also part of the cast. Directed by Kris Thirukumaran, the film is produced by Bobby Balachandran under BTG Universal Starring. The technical crew consists of music by Sam CS, cinematography by Tijo Tomy and editing handed by Anthony. Stunt choreography will be handled by the popular duo AnbAriv.
