Saiyaara is a Bollywood romantic musical drama about two young individuals, Vaani (played by Aneet Padda) and Krish (played by Ahaan Panday), who find love while collaborating on music. The story explores themes of love, loss, and healing as they go through the ups and downs of their relationship.
The main theme is love, loss, and the heartfelt quest to find strength in each other to overcome adversity. It also touches on themes of self-discovery and the complexities of modern relationships.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Mohit Suri revealed that he was initially thinking about the idea of making Aashiqui 3 with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt, which has now been announced as Saiyaara. He said that they initially offered him to create a draft for Aashiqui 3, and that Mukesh and Bhushan had a good relationship at that time.
"I know, they have a very sensitive relationship. They are friends at times, and then they are not. So, I thought of this idea for Aashiqui 3, which is now Saiyaara. But they were in a hurry and wanted to announce, which is something I was not comfortable with. I prefer in having a script first and then make an announcement. But to sum it up, yes, this idea was originally for Aashiqui 3,” Mohit said.
