Saiyami Kher on returning to Special Ops 2.0

Saiyami Kher is back on Special Ops 2.0. The series, helmed by Neeraj Pandey, features Kay Kay Menon in the lead role with Karan Tacker in a supporting character. Saiyami was a part of the original show, which was released during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. As she returns to the series, the actress shares, "Returning to the sets of Special Ops after five years was deeply nostalgic. It brought back a flood of memories from the intensity of the scenes to the camaraderie we shared as a team. Collaborating again with Neeraj Pandey sir and Kay Kay Menon continues to be a valuable learning experience. Both of them bring so much depth and vision to the storytelling, it pushes you to give your best every single time."

Saiyami Kher not a part of Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story

Special Ops officially has only one season. The character of Kay Kay Menon's Himmat Singh got a story of his own during Special Ops 1.5. However, Saiyami's Juhi Kashyap was not a part of the story. She now returns with the second season, while there's still no clarity on whether Sana Khan would be back. As for Neeraj Pandey's series, while Kay Kay Menon reprises his role as Himmat Singh, Karan Tacker plays Farooq Ali.

When and where to watch Special Ops 2.0?

Special Ops 2.0 will premiere exactly a week after Pankaj Tripathi's Criminal Justice: A Family Matter comes to an end this week. The series will be out next Friday i.e. on July 11, 2025. The original show was out on Hotstar, while this season will release on JioHotstar.
